Initial setup
Ready to start developing your application using the Nexus Portal and APIs? To get you up and running, we’ll first set up your dedicated Nexus environment. Follow the steps below to complete the initial setup and begin development.
Step 1: Required Information
To provision your Nexus environment, we require the following information:
- Organization name
- Email address of the initial user, who will be responsible for Identity Account management within the environment
- Base fiat currency
- Desired blockchains to be enabled in your environment
Once this information is provided, we can proceed with the environment setup.
Step 2: Initial user
After we have received the required information, we will create your Nexus environment. The designated initial user will receive an email invitation to register their Nexus Identity Account. Upon registration, they will gain access to the Nexus Portal.
Within the Nexus Portal, the initial user can create additional Identity Accounts as needed. They will also have sufficient permissions to assign roles and manage access rights for other users in accordance with your organization’s requirements.
Step 3: Environment Configuration
As part of the initial setup, your environment is provisioned with a default configuration. You can review and customize the configuration directly in the Nexus Portal to ensure they align with your business model and operational needs.
Step 4: Start Developing
With your Nexus environment fully set up and configured, you’re ready to begin development. To get started with our APIs, please refer to the Start developing section for detailed guidance, examples, and best practices.
