Initial setup

So you want to start developing your own application using our Nexus APIs? In order to get you up and running, you need your own Nexus environment. Follow the below steps to get your environment set up and to start developing!

Step 1: Information needed

We require the below information from you in order to set up your own environment:

1. Your organization name
2. The email address of the initial user who will take the responsibility of user management for the environment
3. The base fiat currency
4. The desired blockchains you would like to have setup in your environment

Step 2: Initial user

After we have received the needed information, we will setup your environment. Your initial user will receive an email to register their Nexus account which will give them access to the Nexus portal. In the portal the initial user can start creating users.

The initial user is initially granted enough access to create any other users needed, and to assign roles and permission to the new users as they see fit.

Step 3: Configuration

As part of your environment’s initial basic setup, certain default configuration was set up. Configure and customize your settings in the Nexus portal to best meet your business model requirements.

Step 4: Start Developing

With your Nexus environment setup and ready to be used, you are ready to start developing! In order to guide you with getting started with our Nexus APIs, have a look at the Start developing tab!
